🌅 Parts of the Day

Examples:
Me levanto a las seis de la mañana.
I wake up at six in the morning.
Siempre llega tarde por la noche.

🕰️ Telling Time in Spanish

🔸 Basic Structure

To say the time in Spanish:

• Use “Es la” for 1 o’clock
• Use “Son las” for all other hours
• Add minutes using “y” and minutes:
  • Son las dos y diez. → It’s 2:10
• For quarter past: y cuarto
• For half past: y media
• For quarter to: menos cuarto
• To refer to morning, afternoon, or night:
  • de la mañana (a.m.)
  • de la tarde (p.m. early evening)
  • de la noche (late night)

🔸 Time Expressions

Examples:
¿Qué hora es? Son las ocho y media.
What time is it? It’s 8:30.
La clase empieza a las nueve en punto.
The class starts at nine o’clock sharp.
