Demonstrative Pronouns
Demonstrative pronouns in Spanish, or "Los Pronombres Demostrativos", help identify the distance of an object relative to the speaker's position. They must agree in gender and number with the nouns they replace.
Types of Demonstrative Pronouns
Spanish demonstrative pronouns are divided based on the distance from the speaker: this/these (close), that/those (medium distance), and that/those over there (far).
This and These (Close to the Speaker)
